IT WAS FUN

The weekend was fun. We expected severe weather here in Austin so Auntie B, her kids C & M, Memere and the dogs (comet & chipper) came to stay with us on Friday and Saturday. They thought it was safer to stay here at MIL and FIL’s house. Good thing they did because it was a good way to bond with them. :). CF was super excited when she found out that the other C was coming over to stay most of the weekend.

Friday: As soon as they got here, Auntie B ordered pizza from Austin’s pizza for dinner, but I didn’t eat anything because I already had something to eat before they came. Auntie B is so funny. She made me laugh a lot and she’s really loud too. I like that. LOL. We stayed up late talking and chatting about anything and everything. She had loads of questions about England. She’s so sweet. CF and C had fun playing with the dogs and they were up late too.

Saturday: Ryan and I went out to look for apartments. Before we left we had Auntie B’s chili dip with some nachos! Omigosh! I asked her to teach me how she did it. She said she will find time to show me how to make it and other appetizers too. I can’t wait! Anyhow, once we were done eating, Ryan and I went apartment hunting. CF decided to stay with Auntie B so we left her here.

Anyhow, we found an apartment that we like. You can read more about it at the end of this post, but for now, let me tell you more about Saturday. :P. When we arrived home we ate again! We had french pasta that Auntie B made and that was good too. After the pasta, Memere served her strawberry shortcake. Hmm… It was so good. I ate too much that day, but I didn’t care! After dinner, I helped clear our the kitchen and said bye to them because they had to go home.

Sunday: Stayed most of the day at home because Ryan had to work. FIL asked if Chantelle and I would like to go out to lunch with him and MIL. I wasn’t gonna go but somehow I managed to say yes. I am not complaining or anything because I thought it was really nice of them to even ask. They could have gone on their own but MIL and FIL aren’t like that. In the evening FIL made us dinner and it was sea bass, couscous, and some beans. It was a really good dinner too.

Monday: Ryan’s day off. We had a relaxing day. We went out to Barnes and Noble’s and Game Stop to get the super Mario Galaxy game and some accessories for our Wii. :) Around 4pm we went to get Taz from the groomers. They cut his fur! I didn’t recognize him until Ryan confirmed it was him. LOL. He was all shiny and stuff. So cute. When we came home FIL fed us Cornish Game Hens with Rice and Asparagus. Again it was delicious. Gosh. The B family really know how to cook!

Apartment: We found one that we like. I was worried because after living with the in-laws, I didn’t think it was possible to find an apartment that we are going to like. :P. Yes, the standard of living here at my in-laws is kind of high (:P). Anyhow, the apartment we found is a very nice place with amenities of my dreams! A pool, a gym and a sauna! The most important thing is that it’s not as expensive as we thought it was going to be! The only problem is that we can’t move in until our stuff is here, plus we have other things to consider too (read more about it later on my vox). At the moment we are thinking about it. We’re weighing and calculating stuff. :P

So yeah, that was our weekend. It was a great one. The weather is back to being comfortable and sunny, Ryan’s back to work and CF is back to school too and Aiiii am playing Wii!

RYAN’S JOB

Ryan found a temporary job in RR. It’s not something that he is happy with because he just wants to go straight into the job that he specializes in, but it will do for the time being while we are waiting for the big stuff. I am trying my hardest to be patient too but sometimes it’s really hard. I am not a very patient person. All I wanna do right now is move on from here but like Ryan said, things take time.

I must learn to be patient otherwise things will drive me crazy. I’ve been stuck in the house for the last three days (!!), and I don’t like it one bit. I want to go out and I want to explore new places, but I am restricted because I don’t have a driving license. That, and the fact that I don’t know how to drive. I know that things will eventually come together, but I must be patient for the time being!
